The present non-financial information report includes the consolidated information corresponding to the period from January 1 to December 31, 2023, of the AXPE Group.

INTRODUCTION

AXPE Group is committed to transparency with its stakeholders, reporting its sustainability commitments under an economic, social, and environmental approach; including all non-financial information in compliance with Law 11/18.

  1. MANAGEMENT POLICIES

In 2023, AXPE Group ensured compliance with high standards of quality and security in its management processes through the following certifications:

ISO 9001: Quality management system that allows AXPE Group to continuously manage and control quality in all processes, achieving consistent and effective performance and service.

ISO 14001: This Environmental Management System standard enables AXPE Group to reduce the environmental impact derived from its economic activity and promote sustainable practices.

ISO 20000: Enables AXPE Group to plan, design, manage, and deliver IT services, as well as establish and execute an efficient and quality IT Service Management System.

ISO 27001: An Information Security Management System that allows AXPE Group to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.

Quality and Environmental Policy: Enables AXPE Group to meet quality standards and control the environmental impact of its activity.

AXPE Group is committed to conducting its business and activities based on ethics, professionalism, and responsibility, strictly complying with the legal requirements in the territories where it operates. It has an Ethical Code and Legal Compliance Code.

The basic pillars of AXPE Group’s sustainability approach in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility are innovation, quality, and efficiency.

The Corporate Responsibility Policy defined in 2023 by AXPE Group establishes commitments in the following areas and Stakeholders: social action, customers, employees, suppliers, quality, environment, and innovation.

  1. SUPPLIER APPROVAL

To ensure relationships with suppliers, in 2023 AXPE Group implemented actions to reinforce their approval based on quality, environmental, and information security criteria defined in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001 standards.

4.1 Communication

In 2023, AXPE Group promoted communication and dialogue among employees through social networks (LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube…), email, the group’s intranet, and telephone; with the objective of maintaining transparency in all areas related to the work environment.

4.2 Training

AXPE Group provides its employees with the necessary means and resources to meet and guarantee their training and development needs, both at the beginning of the employment relationship and throughout its duration.

4.3 Safety and Health

In 2023, AXPE Group guaranteed respect for the Fundamental Rights of its employees, promoting dignified, healthy, and safe working conditions that comply with legal requirements regarding occupational risk prevention and health and safety at work.

5.1 Environmental Commitment

In 2023, AXPE Group applied environmentally respectful processes in the delivery of its services with the help of cutting-edge technology and a team of highly qualified professionals.

AXPE Group also has a process that allows it to identify significant environmental aspects and establish controls for their monitoring and the definition of environmental improvement plans. Additionally, AXPE Group has a Good Practices Manual with concrete measures to minimize the environmental impact of its activity, although this impact is not significant compared to other sectors, as consultancy has limited environmental interaction, mainly focused on energy consumption.

5.2 Waste

As part of its Management System, in 2023 AXPE Group maintained a Waste Management Procedure that outlines the methodology to be applied in work centers, resulting in all waste being segregated and managed by an authorized manager.

5.3 Energy

With the objective of reducing energy consumption, AXPE Group implemented the following measures during 2023:

  • Make use of natural lighting whenever conditions permit, organizing workstations to receive daylight.
  • Turn off room and office lights when not in use.
  • Ensure doors and windows are closed when air conditioning systems are operating to prevent losses and waste.
  • Properly regulate thermostats of heating and cooling systems to maintain a temperature of 20ºC in winter and 22ºC in summer.
  • Enable energy-saving functions on monitors and turn off computers when not in use.

5.4 Water

In 2023, AXPE Group’s water consumption was limited to sanitary water. Also, various measures were implemented during the year to reduce water usage.

5.5 Emissions

AXPE Group does not produce significant direct emissions resulting from its activity.

AXPE Group has a strong commitment to society, creating job opportunities in 2023 for individuals who are enthusiastic, perseverant, and hardworking.

To offer professional opportunities to young people, AXPE Group collaborated in 2023 with several institutions to incorporate paid interns into the workforce of its companies.

6.2 Cloud Security

In 2023, AXPE Group provided its clients with the necessary assistance to design and implement comprehensive security strategies, essential in an increasingly interconnected world prone to malicious online activities, by analyzing risks and appropriate measures for each usage scenario.

On October 2, 2024, AENOR issued the 2023 Non-Financial Information Verification Statement for AXPE Group, confirming compliance with the requirements of Law 11/2018 regarding the transparency and accuracy of non-financial information.
